I am writing this blog because I want to help military members get smart about personal finance. If I never make a cent off it but somebody says they’ve learned from me, I will consider this experiment a success. But…
Beginning December 1, 2009, the FTC started requiring bloggers to disclose whenever there could be hidden interests or unspoken biases related to recommendations. So…
Disclosure:
I may receive compensation if you click on an advertisement and buy something. Or even just if you click but don’t buy. I could receive money if enough of you look at the same ad.
I might have links that pay me a few cents if you click on a link and buy the product (affiliate marketing). Required language:
“We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.”
If I ever have a sponsored post, I’ll let you know that too. If someone gives me $5 to say I like their book, even if I would say it for free, the same rules apply. I will always give honest reviews and won’t recommend anything I wouldn’t use myself.
Of course, this is a personal finance blog and my #1 goal is for you to be smart with money. So if I make a recommendation for a book or service or other item and you can find it cheaper somewhere else, please do so! My personal favorite place to find books is the library 😉
