How Do You Treat Your Money Tree

The Lady In The Black – January , 2018

Are you ready for an allegory?

This is the story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down….

Wait. Wrong story.

This is the story of four money trees – Cash, Penny, Benjamin, and Buck – and their caretakers Sam, Isabelle, Sally, and Danny. The LITB wrote this story with her daughter, KITB, and it has a good message for children and adults alike.

Are you a Saver, an Investor, a Spender, or a Donator?

(admit it…you sang the song in Will Smith’s voice, didn’t you?)

10 Smart Strategies to Cheap International Flights for those who Work 9-5

The 40 Year Old Retirees – January 12, 2018

Travel is on my brain right now. I don’t know if it’s the new year, or the fact that I have an upcoming TDY (work trip, for my civilian friends), or what. But I am thinking about travel non-stop (heh, heh) right now.

I’ve been reading a bunch of posts about travel lately to scratch my travel itch. I’m trying to come up with a good plan to use all of my travel miles/points that I’ve accumulated with my credit card churning experiment and this gave me some good ideas. Plus, I learned something new about rules for long layovers! (you’ll have to click the 10 Smart Strategies link to discover it for yourself)

Yelp Elite: The Perks Of Fancy Free Food And Cool Experiences

Birds Of A FIRE – January 10, 2018

Until reading this post, I’d never heard of Yelp Elite. Now I have a new life goal.

If you aren’t looking for a side hustle but are interested in getting free food and events, this may be for you. If you like to try new experiences, this may be for you. And if you are just really opinionated and want people to listen to what you have to say, this may be for you.

I use Yelp fairly often but only as a consumer of information. I’ve never done a review. Now I’m thinking about starting! If any of you are members of Yelp Elite, leave a note in the comments to share your experience.

Pro Tip: do NOT click on the @FoodBaby link in #1 unless you plan to look at 1000 pictures of mouthwatering food with children in the background. Soooo…hungry…

Thanks so much for the feature :D!

Let me know if you want any more help on the Yelp Elite part haha. Happy to help nominate you when your profile is ready! You can do it!

As a side note, I would one day like to have an Instagram as popular as Foodbaby. That guy gets free food everywhere he goes and is invited to all the soft opening’s of restaurants.

Oh, I’ll keep you in mind – thanks!

If I was offered that much free food, I would have food sextuplets. Not cute ones like in the pictures. Just a big belly.
